Thanks to our wonderful supporters in the UK, at the end of 2024 we were able to provide laptops (including software) to six young adults from challenging backgrounds in Kenya, many of whom have faced abandonment, neglect, or orphanhood. These students have grown up with us and are now thriving in further education.

The students from the Kids Alive Independent Living Programme in Kenya were thrilled to receive their laptops and wanted to express their gratitude to everyone who made this possible. Given their challenging circumstances—having lived in abject poverty and experienced neglect—this is truly a life-changing blessing for them.

Having their own laptops will enhance the students' access to education and equip them with essential skills needed to succeed in an increasingly digital job market. Our Independent Living Programme is designed to help vulnerable children in our care transition into further education or vocational training once they leave school.
