Why Sponsor a Project?

1. Support what’s close to your heart.  Our project sponsorship programme enables you to support what means a lot to you, whether it’s a country that’s close to your heart, or a type of work, such as education, justice or trauma care.

2. Know the difference you’re making. As you know where your money is going, it is easier for you to identify with what you’re supporting and see the difference that your support is making.

3. Make a long term difference. Regular monthly sponsorship enables us to plan ahead so we can develop our projects to ensure they always best meet the best needs of the vulnerable children.

“…and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday.” Isaiah 58:10

Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some of the most commonly asked questions about our site sponsorship programme. If you would like any further information, please email us or call +44 (0)7873 550968.

How much does it costs to sponsor a project?

It is generally up to you how much you would like to give each month, although it would be helpful if this could be a minimum of £10, just to help us cover some of our costs in administering the programme.

What information will I receive?

We will send you an annual project update report, as well as an annual report from the country director which will update you on all of the projects in that country. We will also send you a monthly email with news and prayer requests about all of our work, as well as invitations to update webinars, which we would normally hold for each country we work in twice a year.

Can I Gift Aid my donation?

Yes please, as this means we will receive an extra 25% of your donations back from the Government! But you must be a UK tax payer and have paid sufficient income tax to cover 25% of your donations. We will contact you with a Gift Aid declaration form to enable us to claim this once you have set up your sponsorship.

Can I visit the project?

Sadly not at the moment due to the pandemic, although it is something you could consider when it is safe to do so as part of a group, say, with your family or church. We call these ‘Teams Trips’.
