Anylenlina from the Dominican Republic

A story of firsts

Anylenlina accomplished many firsts. She was the first to graduate from what was then known as our Palo Blanco Care Center over 20 years ago. She was the first in her family to graduate high school. She was the first in her community to graduate college, thanks to a Kids Alive scholarship.

Anylenlina is now working as a Civil Engineer and still celebrating firsts: she’s the first female engineer to assist on a Kids Alive construction project, working at the same school that kept her safe, educated her, and instilled in her a desire to serve God and others.
